We seem to have a resident robin that nests in a row of large conifers that border the farm and shelter the fold yard from the prevailing winds.

When I am indoors and writing my posts on the computer in the study, I can hear the lovely call of the robin. However the greatest thrill is that when I am outside the robin flits and flies from one place to another as I go about my farm duties.

What more can you ask for than the company of the beautiful robin.

Do you have any birds that keep you company in the garden?
