Daily Farm Update At Farming Friends 16/01/09

Cats – Gave the cats some cream which they lapped up. It’s amazing how the cats can smell food when I open the door.

Cattle – Sometimes a few of the cows will fight as the the farmers are bedding them up which can be dangerous for the men.

Ducks – Found one duck nesting under the conifer bordering the vegetable garden today.

Guinea Fowl – The guinea fowl gather in the paddock if the barn door is not left open.

Guinea Pig – Guiness loves to hide in the straw.

Hens – One of the hens is off colour today. Got a few eggs in the hut.

Pigs – It is interesting that the pigs can smell me before they see me or hear me! Do I really smell that much or is their sense of smell very good?

Quail – The quail are enjoying going under the potato ducts with the straw on top.

Will update again tomorrow.

You will be pleased to know that Stripe was back last night and this morning, so all cats present and correct. Phew!
    Kind regards
