The new series of Ready Steady Cook began on Monday and I tuned in to see if I was featured but it wasn’t my episode.
A letter arrived yesterday from Ready Steady Cook letting me know the date of the show I will be on, so if you want to tune in to Ready Steady Cook (UK) on the 24th February at 4.30pm on BBC2, then you will see me and my Hugo House Quail Eggs.

I am feeling a little nervous and excited about the show, wondering what I will look like, sound like and if I have green pesto stuck in my teeth after tasting the food!
Anyway tune in to Ready Steady Cook on BBC2 at 4.30pm on Wednesday 25th February 2009 to find out!
Hi Sallie,
Hope you enjoy the show and lets hope there isn’t a green smile on show!!!
The food was lovely – poached and fried quail eggs and even a bread and butter pudding using my quail eggs.

Hi MeliaMary,
Yes it is very exciting. The chefs were Lesley Waters and Aldo Zilli and Ainsley was brilliant. I will ask when it will be aired in Australia. Can you view BBC iplayer in australia as it will be on their for about a week after I believe.
Kind regards

Hi Sara,
Have made a note of the date and will tune in to watch and check the teeth/pesto situation. Hope the food was nice!!!
Sallie.
Sara, how exciting! Can you find out when it will be shown in Australia? Who did you cook with?
Hi Topveg,
Thanks. I’m not sure I am though. I hope that I look and sound ok. I don’t think that I could be a presenter.
Kind regards
Sara
Great news – really looking forward to it! TopVeg
