One of my Saddleback piglets has one pink ear and one black ear which I have never seen before in my Saddleback piglets.
I have named this piglet Patch as the pink covers some of his eye as well as his ear. Patch is turning into an inquisitive and friendly piglet.

When a hen goes missing overnight, it could be due to a number of reasons;
Gone broody and sitting on nest of eggs.
Injured or sick and can’t make it back to the hut.
Killed by predator.
Misjudged the light and didn’t make it back so roosting elsewhere.

Today I have weaned the saddleback piglets. The piglets are just approaching 8 weeks old and there are 27 piglets which has been alot for my two sows, Cagney and Lacy, to feed.
