Famine In The West – An EBook

Famine In The West

Famine In The West is a thought provoking book which looks at the global issues of climate change and agricultural reliance on fossil fuels and the effects of these issues on world farming and food production. John is not afraid to tackle these global issues head on because as he so rightly points out, “Should both these problems arise simultaneously then we face chaos, collapse of the transport infrastructure and farming as we know it…and famine.”

The issues raised in this book are presented in a clear, interesting and easy to read format. This 87 page book has been split into three parts;

Part One: Famine In The West.

2) Panic and Speculation.

20) Conclusion.

As I have already said, Famine In The West is a thought provoking book which looks at the global issues of climate change and agricultural reliance on fossil fuels and the effects of these issues on world farming and food production. Although I usually have very little interest in politics, this book has made me sit up and realise that issues which I have previously felt would have little effect on me and my life, could and will, if not addressed quickly, have a major impact on my life and indeed all lives across the globe.

I would highly recommend this book both for the reader interested in the politics of agriculture and the global issues affecting our future and for those who are not, because we should all be interested. Click on this link to buy your copy of Famine in The West by John Gossop right now.
