Hi Rachel,

Everything about Ivory is bigger! It will be interesting to see what she turns into ....

They have had their first propper swim this morning... Was a bit cute - I just put a small tub in the nursery with the heat lamp as it has gone cold and rainy here again - I am really starting to wonder where spring has gone..

Cheers

What a gorgeous trio, they look very happy together, so glad you called them Ebony and Ivory, it really suits them!
It looks as if Ivory's beak is slightly wider, but I don't know if that means anything.

Thanks everyone I think they are pretty special ducks too! I am excited to see what kind of duck Ivory will turn out to be - she is very cuddly... which is really nice.

Someone has illuded to the shape in the duck bill being an indicator of the gender- the last picture of the two little ones has a good show - any thoughts?? Can someone direct me to the posts so I can have a read...PLease :)

Cheers - off to work now...

As requested Dottie, here are some pictures of the three ducks we currently have.

Look at the size difference in those guys .. there is about 6 weeks between them....

If you look at Darwins mouth he has a bit of grass or something - I was trying to get it off and Darwin moved off (didn't seem to thrilled at me touching it) when he moved awat about 20cm of grass came out of his mouth .. had clearly been struggling with it for a while.. I was a bit worried but that was a few days again and Darwin seems fine... Ducks! anyhoo...

Sooo cute - they came and played find the worm with Darwin in the yard this afternoon - got spooked jumped into the pond - freaked themselves right out and looked like they had been jet propelled when they jumped out again...

Ducks really are delightful. :)

Hi Toni,

The photos need to be hosted on a webiste so if you want to send them to me I can then upload them to my website and then add them to this forum. I will send you my email address. If you are on facebook or have a flickr/photobucket photo account then they can be hosted there. 1. Create an account at a photo sharing website such as http://www.photobucket.com or http://www.flickr.com/
2. Upload your image to photobucket or flickr.
3. Hover over the image and left click in the "Direct Link" box, then right click and copy.
4. Go to discussion forum post, right click and paste. You have now put a link to your photo.
At this point I can then copy and paste the photo to my farmingfriends admin and insert it into the forum.
I look forward to seeing your ducks.
Kind regards
sara @ farmingfriends
