My male duck was killed a few weeks ago by a hawk. There are a pair of Muscovy ducks that visit my yard every day. The Muskovy drake appears to be attracted to my female duck. I do not want the Muscovy's but do not know how to get rid of them. My female duck, Quackers, seemed sick today, always laying down everytime she reached a bush or tree. Later today, she was waddling towards the lake and laid a huge egg with a very thin shell. As soon as she laid it, one of my hens pecked around on it and broke it open. Could the egg have been a Muskovy egg mix? Was it too large for her? Why did my hen peck it open? How can I get rid of the Muskovy pair? Help please ASAP </p>
