<description>&#60;p&#62;Hi Becky, Japanese quail will start to lay from 6 to 8 weeks old. I am not sure about their behaviour but if you have males a good sign to know that mating is about to start and therefore the likelihood of eggs is that they males will do a foam ball, their droppings will have some white foam on it, looks like shaving foam. A good sign that they are ready to mate!&#60;br /&#62;
