Hi Sarah,
Glad you like the long tailed tit photos. this is the first year I have seen these lovely birds.
Wow 55 species of birds what a lovely garden you must have.

With regards to adding photos, you can send me your photos via email and I can add them or you can:

1. Create an account at a photo sharing website such as http://www.photobucket.com or http://www.flickr.com/
2. Upload your image to photobucket or flickr.
3. Hover over the image and left click in the "Direct Link" box, then right click and copy.
4. Go to discussion forum post, right click and paste. You have now put a link to your photo.
At this point I can then copy and paste the photo to my farmingfriends admin and insert it into the forum. Hope that helps and I look forward to seeing any photos you have.

Kind regards

Hi Sara,
the long tailed tit photos are great. They don't seem to mind humans too much and you can get quite close if you are still.
We are very lucky where we live and have over 55 different species of birds, visiting or flying over our garden - which is surrounded by farmland.
My husband and I are keen birdwatchers, so any questions re wildbirds, will be happily answered.
Regards,
Sarah

How do we add photos?

Hi Sallie,
Great to hear from you. I have never seen the long tailed tit before so it has been a treat for me. It would be good if they nested in your conifers. I have robins nesting in mine.
Here are some photos of the Long tailed tits that were feeding on the fat balls in my garden.

Hi Sara, I have been lucky enough to have 8 long tailed tits on the peanuts and fat balls for the last 6 weeks. Normally they only visit for a couple of weeks and then move on so I am hoping these will stay and nest in the conifers.

Long time no e-mail. Shooting season finally ended and life getting back to normal.

Down to 13 Quail now as that 'dirty' rat decimated the ranks. Hopefully all rat proofed and secure now so cross fingers will have eggs this summer.

Kind regards

Sallie.
