  1. Hi All,
I know that there are different varieties of bluebells and I have inherited bluebells in my orchard and just wondered if any of you knew which variety these bluebells are.

I have read that there are Native British Bluebells, spanish bluebells and hybrid bluebells.
    Thanks for yourhelp.
    Kind regards

    Hi Sara
I'm not an expert, but I believe the English bluebells have a straight stem with the top slightly arching over, these look straight so they may be Spanish bluebells. Very pretty either way. The Spanish one according to my book is called Hyacinthoides hispanica (sounds like something out of Star Wars!)

  3. Hi Rachel,
Thanks for your thoughts and for looking in your book for me. I thought they might be the Spanish variety.
    Kind regards
