Yes you can eat them and no they won't hatch unless they are brooded by the female.
If one is white then it's not a mallard, but may be a white campbell or X with one - unless they are very small in which case may be a call duck.Sarah LPosted 2 years ago # -
hi i am pretty sure its a white mallard,i had them from ducklings from a farmer that breeds mallards for shooting he said every now and then he gets white ones.take a look at the you tube link its a video of my ducks.thanks for the reply

lovely bit of film but no way is the white one a mallard, and you may have more than one female there to, how old are they

Hi , Lovely film to watch ,think you have females and one male .The white may be a throw back from earlier genes but have never heard of it Take a look at the link and let us know what you think. Mallards may and do fly away as they are a light breed , hope yours don't . Regards MamaGoose GirlPosted 2 years ago # -
Hi All,
Just with regards to flying I have one mallard drake with my other ducks and he was rescued as a duckling from a dogs mouth! Anyway he sometimes flies over the fields on our farm if frightened but then will soon come back to the hand that feeds him and the other ducks who are hime friends and breeding partners!
Enjoyed watching your ducks enjoy their pond! Your rabbit is lovely too.
Not sure if the white one is a mallard. I know that guinea fowl that re not white can sometimes hatch a white guinea fowl!
Kind regards
