I have got a poorly chicken, she seemed healthy yesterday, but now is huddled up with her eyes closed, with very watery droppings. They are on their 6th day of flubenvet, but the first few days they had the powder mixed in with pasta, this was the last of my tub. I invested in some of the marriages feed with flubenvet as I thought it would be easier, so they have had this the last couple of days. Could this be a side effect?

Thanks Mama, I will try giving some bran, she actually seems perkier now. Do you worm yours at all? I use verm x most of the time, but am not sure about the complete efficacy of it. I have recently bought in some new stock and my view is that if I treat them all with flubenvet now I know they
Are all free of worms, then use the verm x for the rest of the year. As they are free ranging I know that increases the risk of worms, but none of them were showing any signs.Posted 2 years ago # -

Hi Henhet,
Welcome to the farmingfriends forum. I have not used flubenvet before as I think there is an egg withdrawal period or there used to be I think. anyway I have only ever used Verm X on my hens, guinea fowl and ducks.
Kind regards
