One of my lavender araucana chickens and one warren hen have white discolouration on their wattles - they haven't gone pale, but have a white sort of coating. It is worse in the lavender and there are a few brown patches there too. I have only just noticed it as they seem bright and perky in themselves as usual.
I have looked at picture of favus and it doesn't look like that - it's not spots as such but patches.
I'll take a picture tomorrow and post that.
What could it be and how do I treat it?

Sorry to hear about the white on the wattles. I did a google search and found this forum post on another site and it talks about avian pox.
