  2. Hi faiz,
Welcome to the farmingfriends forum. You can make your own incubator using a cardboard box, wood or a polystyrene box and a heat lamp and making your own wet bulb for the humidity. Check out these links:

Hope this information is useful. Let me know how you get on.
    Kind regards

  5. Hi Faiz,
I am not sure what your fish pot looks like. You want to use a material that will withstand the heat of a heat lamp that you need inorder to get the right temperature to incubate the eggs. I would use a cardboard box or wooden box. You need to think about the flooring in the incubator amd make sure that it isn't slippy when the chicks hatch out otherwise they will get splayed legs. you could add an old towel or piece of carpet to the bottom of the box. you can also add a wet flannel to get the humidity needed.
    Hope that helps.
    kind regards

  7. Hi faiz,
    My incubator recommends the following:
The temperature in the incubator for Coturnix (Japanese) quail eggs is 99.5-99.9 degrees fahrenheit.

The humidity level (wet bulb thermometer) for Coturnix (Japanese) quail eggs is 84-88 degrees fahrenheit.
I keep it the same throughout.

    Hope that helps.
    Kind regards
