Hi All,
As some of you will know I have 6 khaki campbell ducks and a drake. I have noticed in the last few weeks that Francis has been singling one of the ducks out more with his amorous attentions. I don't know if this is because she is slightly smaller than the other ducks and tends to be quieter than the others. She also seems to be on her own on the odd occasion when they are outside and she sometimes sits away from the rest of the group in the barn. Just thought this was interesting behaviour.

Hi Mo,
It's Little Princess who I was talking about, she is still favoured by Sir Francis for mating but he doesn't seem to bother about her and round her up like the others. She still keeps her distance during the day and sits quietly in the grassed area near the orchard and veg garden where she knows I will give her extra bits of lettuce.
At night she will sometimes sit with the others and sometimes is on her own.
