Just wanted to let everyone know that after my post of no ducklings by day 31, I went down last night, still day 31, and discovered a very healthy, lively duckling. Humbug has kept inside the duck house all day, without coming out for food or water, and kept the new duckling under her wing, she is still sitting on 9 eggs. I have put food and water in for baby but nothing has been touched. I am delighted with new duckling, but am worried that Humbug will carry on sitting for too long without results. Have one very cute picture if you tell me how to post.so glad I didn't give up hope.

How lovely, I suspect she didnt start sitting properly in the first few days, so your expected hatch date is out. The others will come along within the next 2 days.
