Hi Sara and all, Have noticed recently that posts are appearing out of order. Has anyone else noticed this. You make a comment see a reply and when you look later another comment has appeared in between the two ??? Mama .

  7. Hi Mama,
No I haven't noticed this happening and not sure how it is happening. From my admin panel I am able to edit a post but can't change the order that they go in. Very strange. I will keep my eyes peeled! Let me know when it happens again.
    Kind regards

  9. hi Sara not quite a gremlin but is there not an easier way for photos to be loaded, there was a cry for help from Quacking Minx yesterday and the photo didnt appear, if Sarah hadn't come on and been able to correct it valubale help may have been delayed, and another is wrong this morning but is the wrong photo anyway

  10. Hi Mo,
I agree it would be great if the photos just showed up automatically but when adding photos they have to be hosted somewhere on the web, either on my farmingfriends server, which I can upload to my website and then get the link to show here or on facebook or a photo sharing site such as photobucket. The photos minxy has been putting on are hosted on minxy's photobucket account. Minxy has been putting the link on and then I have been editing the post and getting the photos to show with the code
    <img src=" before the http
and " /> after the .jpg

I will write a post explaining the code.

So here is an image I have hosted on facebook

    http://photos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/247500_10150196317590893_634510892_6948256_7198433_s.jpg

if I add <img src=" before the http

and " /> after the jpg it should show!

Members can use this code as they type I will find a link to the post I did explaing different codes for different jobs.

I am considering upgrading my forum at some point which may make photo sharing easier. I originally used this software as it was recommended and was free and easy to use but it does have it's limitations.

    Kind regards

I did look back at the post where u explained to me how to do it with the altered code and every time I clicked post nothing at all would post so I just posted the link off photo bucket I get mixed up which code I need 2 do so now I just click the direct link one :)

I don't know why everything vanishes though when I alter the code :)

  14. Hi Minxy,
Sometimes if you miss out one sysmbol on the code, I often forget the = then the code and link tend to disappear, not sure why. I tend to copy left click, highlight and copy post before I post then if it doesn't work I can just edit straight away! Glad you've got the photo to show, what a lovely pic of the duck and ducklings.
    Kind regards

  17. Hi Mo,
I didn't take it as a criticism. It was a good chance to explain how to add them again for members who have facebook and photo sharing accounts.
Sometime I forget what the code is if I haven't added a photo for a while, so always good to refresh the old memory. It would be good if photos could be uploaded straight to the forum when someone needs help. I will look into this.
    Kind regards
