Hi there
we have had this before.. wrinkled hard shell. It was a long time ago, but we think the hen turned out to have a respiratory infection. If they seem well and have enough grit etc, I think it could also be due to stress, which is quite possible after the mites and small holiday they had! Am sure some of the more experienced hen owners will be able to give more information than I can. Good luck with them!

Thanks Karen, I have been looking out for respiratory infection signs, but they seem ok.. will keep an extra eye on things..

It is most likely the change of situation and habitat. Ducks hate change of any sort so I expect chickens are the same and will settle back to normal soon.
