    hey everyone,
i had a pair of ducks but the drake passed out.. the female is about 5 months now..
after being alone for about 2 weeks.. i got her 2 baby duck but she s so aggressive with them.. she runs after them and bite them they start to quack loud of pain.. is she gonna hurt them or it is a normal reaction?
what should i do to make them get along.. she doesn t let them eat from there food and turns out crazy if i get toward them
one of the duckies is black she attacks it most
    any ideas?

    Hi Roula
Sorry you lost your drake and the female is now causing problems. I have heard that you need to try and mix ducks of similar age, otherwise they will not get on. There are much more experienced duck owners on here who will be able to give you proper advice though!
    Good luck

Roula, sorry about your loss but you have to get ducks of the same age .You will have to keep them apart until the babies are nearly full grown. If you can make a run where they can see each other that will help to integrate them .Mama

As Mama says. separate them til they are all the same size, but only have wire netting between them so they can still be next to each other, as they will feel the need to do this if they are frightened.
How about replacing the drake? There are many people that need to rehome an adult drake.
