   how long are quail eggs in the incubator for as mine have been in for 34 days and the other 32 days and they are both shaing should they have hatched by now or should i crack the egg as they miight not be able to get out ? please help

   Hi Becky
   Only hatched 2 batches my self and one lot started after 18 days 2nd lot after 20 days.
   10 hatched first lot but only 3 survived, seven hatched 2nd lot only one survived.
   the chicks that did not make it lasted between 2 days and a week.
   the 4 that did are thriving, but it was sad to witness the rate of attrition,
   I would think after 34 days it may indicate non fertility or they have passed away.

   Hi, Becky. I set my incubator for quail at 100f and they hatch on days 16, 17 and 18. continually opening the incubator will delay a hatch but only by a day or 2.
