From everything I have read about Guinea's I thought they were seasonal layers? Yet, I have 2 hens, who now are laying in the same spot that their 'mother' layer hen is. At first I thought that the hen was laying 2 eggs a day, as they are the same brown colour as her eggs, but these are much smaller tear shaped little things. When I look real close at them, they have minute little darker spots on the eggs. They are cute! The two guinea hens and the hen are all laying in the nest box together, so I took the chicken egg away, and left the 2 guinea eggs. I wonder if the broody hen will hatch them.. if the males have done their job? Going to get real cold soon tho.. we have had unseasonably mild rainy winter, when it should be -10C as an average by now.

hello maybe the mild weather has confused them slightly, my advice as your winter will eventually arive would be to remove the eggs daily until the spring because even if they are fertile it would be very unwise to have young chicks in the depth of winter
