After a fox wiped out my chickens ive decided to switch to quails, i have a 4yr old daughter and would love to raise some chicks so she could watch them grow. if i got 10 chicks roughly how many could i expect to be hens?

Hi, I was talking to a reptile breeder the other day and I asked him what tempature he would set for the eggs and his reply was that it depended on weather he was breeding males or females! i wonder if one day we will be able to do this with poultry ?
