   Hi All,
   Joe has emailed about his indian runner hatch.

   "I am trying to incubate Indian runner eggs and today is day 30. I have been told differing opinions on what to do if the eggs are not hatching. I just removed the shell from one egg and the chick seemed to be moving but not fully developed. What happened. It had some feathers and I saw an egg tooth. Did I screw up. I feel terrible. Joe."

   Any advice.

   the egg tooth is for them to pip their own shell. It sounds like your incubator settings haven't been quite right and they are not as advanced as you thought they were. Make sure the settings are correct, temps and humidity and give it another couple of days. I presume the one you tried to "help" has now died? or is it still in the incubator?
