   My mallard ducklings are now three weeks old and I just don't have the time to be cleanings fleece blankets any more. I switched to cedar wood chips this morning. The problem is they are eating the wood chips is this bad?

   Hi George, sorry yes not to good for them can you swop to just chopped straw until they are older

   Straw, chopped straw or wood shavings is best. Most importantly make sure they have plenty of food, water - for bathing and drinking and space to move about in and they will be so busy they won't want to eat their bedding
