    HELLO
Heres hoping this forum might produce some results this is the thread i have put on several forums but as yet no luck maybe just maybe someone may take up my offer here is the post

I live in the Bicester area of oOfordshire and are looking for a small plot of land and a building to keep and breed a few chickens.i cant afford much rent but i would be willing to offer my skills as a carpenter and general builder in lieu of payment.
I would if nothing is available be willing to help out on a small holding offering the same deal as now retired i have time on my hands if i could keep some of my own poultry,

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
    Steve

  2. sorry can't help but needed to say hello as I live in Upper Heyford, you don't need alot of land for chickens I only have a village garden and I have 8 ducks and they need more room than chickens,
good luck with your search but dont think there are anymore members in our area, there was someone from the Banbury area but they havn't been on for a while

I am afraid I cannot offer any help but would love it if you lived near me just outside Plymouth, I could do with your services as odd job man and could offer you the land you need.
My neighbour has a fair piece of land but only uses a small piece because of the threat of foxes. Her chickens seem quite healthy so I wonder what is the minimum you could get away with per bird.
I presume you don't have any land at all though or you wouldn't be looking so desperately.
Hope you have some success in your search.
