I was just wondering if ducks can tell if their eggs are fertile or not? Ive posted on here before about how I've attempted incubation many times and failed, but last week Jemima my indian runner starting sitting on her eggs, she has a collection of about 12 I think! Im getting quite excited, is the likelihood of them hatching quite good?

hello hope all goes well, she wont know at this stage if they are fertile she is just following her natural instinct by sitting,

I gave up candling my incubator eggs and their due date is tomorrow so I am just hoping that we will have some new arrivals! To be honest, Im not expecting any results but I will be ecstatic if any hatch! Jemima is still sitting tight too ,which is exciting! X
