this morning there were only three and a fraction of an egg from 6 ducks that have been laying at least 5 eggs per day.

The weather has been apalling but they have love it as it has produced huge waterlogged areas accessible to them where they have spent most of the day.

I have heard of soft shells but not tiny ones from normal sized ducks.

  2. it has happened to most of us on here at some time or another the rude but very common name for them is..fart eggs..nothing to worry about, a duck at anyone time has several eggs in the pipe line so occasionally eggs get layed before their time

this link shows all kind of strange eggs

I have not had another marble sized egg but one egg each morning is still considerably smaller than the rest. Bigger this morning so I expect it will return to normal soon, but could it be the stormy weather that is responsible?
