I have a goose egg i created a homemade incubator out of a styroafoam (however you spell it ) coole. Anyways last night I went check on my egg I opened it and listened to is with a sterile stethoscope, IN MY SHOCK and AMAZEMENT, I heard chirping and moving this was at 9:00pm last night it has been 10 hrs since I heard the initial movement and chirping, I NOT SEEN ANY SIGNS TO OF A HAIRLINE A PIP ANYWHERE! I Know she/he is alive in there I hear her/him, trying but im afraid it wont be able to make the initial crack. Theres no crack hairline anywhere and its making me nervous what if she runs out of time and air be for she breaks it. What do I do is there any way to help her. Remember shes in there shes moving and making baby noises but she hasnt broke through :( :( :(! Ive been doing my best to take care of it. The temperature stays between 100-and 98 its hydrometer (humidity) (dont no if thats what its called) says its about a 60-75/80 humidty. Keeping the humidity right is becoming complicated. I need help!!! Can I crack it some how for her.. I feel like that be dangerous :( please help me, before she runs out of time. PS. SORRY FOR ALL MISTAKES IN HERE rushing through it.

No don't crack the shell, they can take up to 48hrs to make it out of the shell. You could kill it by doing so .Be patient and wait and see .Good luck Mama

  8. hello one thing you havnt mentioned is how many days the egg has been incubating for, geese eggs depending on the breed can take anywhere between 28 and 35 days before the hatch begins and anything up to 3 days to hatch completely, the egg needs to be kept moist to help by spritzing with some water
