The ducks eggs in my incubator have been there for about now 29-31 days (some were put in later than the rest). I'm wondering when should I just give up on them? The incubator was spiking to 102 degrees and dropping to 97 degrees at one point.

Now, I did candle them a couple of nights ago, found some had movement... but confused at the length of time it is taking since they are from Pekins with a hatch date of 28 days. Anyone have experience with late hatching or plain advise?

    Cheers,

  2. Hi Jonathan,
Here is an article I wrote about eggs hatching late http://farmingfriends.com/reasons-for-eggs-hatching-late/

I tend to leave my eggs for a week to 10 days after hatch, so I wouldn't give up just yet.

    kind regards
