Has any one ever used a courier service to transport birds. If so who would you recommend?
Thanks

Hi Tigerlou,
I had 100 quail couriered to me near York from down south and the courier was very good. They obviously cared about the welfare of the birds and kept me informed of their arrival time on the day of delivery. The charge was very reasonable at £55. They are based in Sittingbourne in Kent and I believe they will deliver birds anywhere in the UK. Their details are as follows:-
Tony Jolliffe
Livestock Couriers UK and Europe
Telephone : 01795 425940
Mobile : 07971 523848
I hope this helps.
Kind regards

We used to put day old chicks on the train (in a card board box with holes in it) - and we had a sheepdog sent down from Scotland on the train. Also remember sending pigs in crates on the train - wonder if they still do it?
