   Hi All

   I was in town getting groceries and the price of half a dozen duck eggs was £1.99.
   I thought that was quite expensive. I guess I have been undercharging for mine.
   I have been asking £1.50. I was thinking that the producer who was selling the eggs has to consider their packaging costs and supermarket cut probably as well.
   They were from the Irish Republic, I do not know if they were as big as mine, but they looked very clean and well presented.

   I got a website which has some recepies for using with duck eggs http://duckeggs.ie/ this is not the same producer as the ones in the shop, I could not get a website for them.

   Hi Lorna, I sell mine for £1.50 too. We have a local farm that sells them for £1.20. They are £1.90 in tesco.

   Hi Lorna,

   We sell ours for £2.00 per half doz. I didn't know Tesco's sold them.

   The local farm shop sells duck eggs for £2.50 per half doz or 50p each.

   We have a sign up at the end of the drive.

   We also have hen eggs for £1.00 per half doz.

   Hi Ladies

   Seems like we are all nearly charging the same price, funny that. I only sell 1 dozen per week as I only have the 2 large ducks which lay big enough eggs, the call ducks eggs are quite small, I usually use them myself. I always tell the big ducks they can eat as much as they want as they earn everything they eat!!. I think I will maybe wait a while before I make any price increases, haha.
