Got an email about a poorly guinea fowl, anyone encountered this?
"I have a male guinea,his name is squash he is about 14 months old and he has lost his appitite and has drainage from his nose.All of my other guineas are fine .Could yall help figure out what is wrong with him? TY,Jeany"

Hi Jeany,
Sorry to hear about your guinea fowl being poorly. It sounds like some sort of respiratory problem. Problem is that many illnesses in birds have similar symptoms. Are you able to take your guinea fowl to the vet or phone your vet for advice, they may be able to suggest something over the phone.
What are the guinea fowl's droppings like? How is the guinea fowl when standing? These can help to ascertain what is the problem.
