Harvest Festival Flower Arrangement Ideas
I have been asked if I would like to do a Harvest Festival Flower Arrangement for the local church which is holding an art & crafts exhibition to coincide with Harvest Festival this week end. If anyone has any good ideas for what sorts of flowers and foliage to include and the container then all ideas would be gratefully received.
I have a replica milk churn that I thought I might use as the vase. I have a few cosmos flowers left so I thought they would add a splash of colour and I have some beautiful large white hydrangea flower heads that will look stunning. I thought that I might add some foliage and to add a bit of harvest to the arrangement add some wheat and elderberries. A friend of mine who happens to be a florist gave me a couple of pointers, but more tips on flower arrangement would definitely help.
So if anyone has any good flower arranging ideas I would love to hear them.
