Instructions For Growing Garlic
I have planted garlic with the children in my school gardening club using advice from TopVeg.
Farming Friends & TopVeg have collaborated to create a How To Grow Garlic growing card.
How To Grow Garlic Instructions
Click on the image to enlarge and if you wish to print off this growing card, right click on the enlarged image and then click print picture to print out a copy. If you would like this document as a pdf, just contact farmingfriends and I will email you the document.
I intend to print off copies and then laminate the sheet so that I can use the growing card with my school gardening club in the future.
Teachers, children, vegetable growers and anyone interested in growing garlic are welcome to print off this growing card for their own use.

Can anyone out there advise me on how to grow Garlic to a complete novice? I have a small garden and no soil. I would much prefer to grow the garlic indoors on the kitchen window ledge.

Hi Dave,
I will send you the growing card which may help. If you follow the info on the card but plant an individual clove in a plant pot then you should be able to grow the garlic on the window ledge. You may also find this website very useful. http://www.topveg.com
