Leeks In The Post
A brown packet arrived in the post this morning addressed to me. What could it be? I thought. I wasn’t expecting anything.
When I opened the packet, I got a surprise. Inside was a set of leek plants ready for planting. They had been carefully wrapped in a wet paper towel in order to keep the plants alive and then wrapped in a plastic bag to keep the moisture inside. Planting instructions were also included. How strange, I hadn’t ordered any leek plants, so who could they be from?
