Naming Saddleback Pigs
Here are my saddleback gilts. I can’t introduce you to them properly as they haven’t been named yet!
I am going to name the pigs as I hope to breed saddleback pigs from them and so I intend to keep these gilts for a couple of years.
I would like a pair of names for the two female pigs.
Here are the names I have thought about so far;
- Salt & Pepper.
- Margot & Barbara.
- Ham & Bacon.
As you can see I am struggling to come up with a good pair of names, so if anyone has any suggestions then please leave a comment – thanks.

Keets are doing fine. One of the lavenders has white wings now. Update soon.

I am pleased you found my site and have left a comment. What a great idea using names from characters from the TV – I like Cagney and Lacy.
