Quail Eggs For Hatching
12 Quail eggs suitable for hatching in an incubator or under a broody hen. Only £3 plus £4 postage and packaging.
Eggs will be collected and posted within 3 days of receipt of order. (Please note that quail eggs can be stored for up to 7 days.) The eggs will be fresh and no more than 2-4 days old.
The eggs will be sent first class within the UK in a polystyrene egg container specially made for sending eggs in the post. Please note that this product can only be sent to residents of the UK and not overseas.
These eggs are for hatching and not for human consumption. Fertility cannot be guaranteed after postage.
I have about 50 mixed female and male Japanese quail along with a few Italian quail running together in a barn where they are free to roam and fly about.
It is recommended that you let the eggs stand and settle for 24 hours at room temperature upon receipt before incubation.

Do you still keep quail? I am interested in just a few, around 3 or 4 to run with our chickens.

Hi Dave.. I don’t think it would be a good idea to keep quail with chickens as the chickens may bully the quail as they are alot larger.. I did raise a chicken under a quail hen from when he was two weeks old back in September 2009.. But I had to take him out in the end because he didn’t mean to but he kept standing on them and I was worried he would harm them with out meaning too.. It’s not that advisable but miracles happen
