Snow And Guinea Fowl

Yesterday it snowed and I decided not to get the guinea fowl out as I know that they do not like snow. In fact guinea fowl hate snow they do not like to walk on it and will fly. This shows that they really don’t like snow as guinea fowl prefer to walk than fly but when it snows they will fly into the nearest trees to keep out of the way of snow on the ground.

Today when I went to let the guinea fowl out they quickly left the hut as they do not like to be kept in, even thought their hut is very large and I had placed some fodder beet into the hut as well as their usual food. Guinea fowl really enjoy eating fooder beet and sugar beet.
