Weighing Pigs

This morning I have been attempting to weigh my pigs. I have managed to get 5 of the boars through the weigh.

Flash weighs about 130lbs.

Buttons weighs about 115lbs.

Pinky weighs about 130lbs.

Tipsy weighs about 123lbs.

Streaky weighs about 125lbs.

Archie went onto the scales and I did manage to close the door behind him but he hunched himself up and then tried to turn around with the door still shut so I had to let him out before I could weigh him properly.

Blacky Left Foot also had a sniff of the weigh but I couldn’t get him to put his feet on. I decided to let them go on in their own time so as not to frighten them and put them off going on the scales.

I will try again with Archie and Blacky Left Foot tonight when I feed and muck them out. Wish me luck!

Hi Sara. I’ve got some time off from work so I’m visiting everyone. You sound very busy.
School starts up again August 25th. I’ll be really busy then! Hope all is well.
